Great idea! All sorts of possibilities - a large corporation or local business could bid for place and field a Premiership player for advertising purposes! Halifax or Red Bull spring to mind.

Great idea sy. Just a quick one, we are having a wusa catch up meeting tonight at 7.30 at the crook log you and pat are welcome to come along we are sorting out presence at danson festival and also boost the budget we have an idea for this as well
Can females bid too ?! The changing room would be entertaining lol !
Having just read an article about a female M.P being banned from playing in the Parliamentary team I would assume the answer would be no. Under F.A. regulations only girls under 13 can play in mixed teams. I think its unfair in but perhaps they think some women would put a few premiership players to shame.

Im not convinced on that one ... cant imagine many women coming out of a 50-50 with Papa Bouba Dioup too well given his 6foot 6inch frame and mere 17stones.

It was meant as a bit of a tongue in cheek mark. Although a mate I used to work with wife used to play for england and is rather formidable. :)
