On Thursday 24th April the Under 21s / Reserves will play Sutton or Royston at the Metropolitan Police's Imber Court ground. Any support would be welcomed.

Should they win on Saturday, they will be guaranteed as league runners up which represents an excellent achievement in their first season at this level.

Anyone know where that is? Directions to the ground or a SATNAV postcode would be most welcome

The team's management say 7:30. Maybe the gates open at 7:00. Two hours is a bit tight if it goes to extra time and penalties.

League runners up and cup finalists is an outstanding first season for the new style reserve team.

Well done to all concerned.

Final score Sutton 4 Welling 1.  Cannot really argue about the result, our lads were down and out at half time but came back well and won the second half.  Sutton appeared to have fielded a number of experienced players in their team which was probably the difference between the two sides.  Unfortunately, the Wings finished with 10 Men following the sending off of our captain late in the match for a robust tackle which did not, IMO, warrant a yellow card let alone a red one.  Despite today's result the season as a whole must be considered a successful one.
