Seeing as he played for us last season, I'd be interested to know if they mock their very own Toby Ajala and label him a brickie/plumber, and therefore not good enough to pose any threat to the opposition.

Torquay fan in peace. I can assure you that anyone who thinks tonight's game will be a walkover for us are seriously deluded. If someone offered me a nervy 2-1 win I would take it.
I was at the Gateshead game and defensively we were a shambles. Gateshead could easily have scored 5 or 6. I think if you come out attacking tonight you will score goals.
Ajala I believe is a superb player and in pre-season he has been very impressive. I would love it if he starts tonight as he can create goals..
Wish you all the best, except for tonight and when we play the return fixture. Safe journey to all who made the long trek.
Bush is too fat to play at Conference level.
Gallagher is awful because he played in Iceland - neglecting to mention his England C caps
Faz is crap because he runs a PT camp and had to miss work today - neglecting to mention he was the Conference's best RB last season.
And saying we are parking the bus and trying to get a point after 6 minutes - neglecting to mention how good our away record was last season.
How patronising to call us a "bad side".
Even if we are, you don't say things like that on a commentary.
Torquay, and many others before them, think they are bigger than they are.
Compare yourselves to us, you should be embarrassed to be in Welling's league. You are in no place to call us a bad side.
Early days. We, almost certainly, have the lowest budget in the Conference and it will be difficult to compete with most, let alone the big spenders - especially those with parachute payments from the Football League. Let us remember these insults and give Torquay hell on and off the pitch when they visit us on a cold day in December. Hopefully, somebody has taken the trouble to let our players know, at halftime, what is being said about them.

We're not as bad as Saturday, but they're just a better side than us.
Officials poor, but not the reason we're losing. However, had that 'penalty' not been given it'd be just one nil and we'd still have a chance of sneaking something.
I agree that Guy Branstons comments are very disrespectful to you guys. I can honestly say the majority of us fans will not take any side lightly this season. We deserved to be relegated into this league and we know it will be a tough ask to get back up. A lot of people forget we lost 1-0 at Home to Farsley Celtic in our first spell in the conference so no team should be considered an easy 3 points for us.
Still , it's nice to be finally winning a match and playing well.
I don't mind opposition commentators saying their club should win because normally it's true, we have the smallest budget in the league and struggle to compete against big teams. But I can't stand people who just say we are part time therefore we're **** and do no research on us whatsoever.
No Ross is not at Peterborough, try Luton.
Saying Torquay are playing well and we're playing badly is fine. Saying we are ****, in polite terms, is not acceptable on the BBC. Are knowing naff all about the team you are commentating on, and not being able to pronounce anyone's name, is pathetic.
