obviously not which is the point of pre season. i imagine he will squeeze one more friendly in. as long as he knows by guisely then that is all that matters
A bit worrying that Sutton looked the team more likely to score throughout the game. We defended reasonably well but there was little constructive play further forward and I can't remember us having a single clear cut chance in the 90 minutes.
I have never been a fan of artificial pitches but I have to say I was very impressed with Sutton's 3G. It appeared to be far superior to Maidstone's. If this is the standard which can now be produced I think many other clubs will be looking to see if they can afford to install them over the next few years.
So the positive outcome was that the defence didn't concede, but not real scoring chances at the other end is a worry. But all will be OK when KSA returns? Or perhaps not!
Hi SUFCtv here, the people who provided that 'boring commentary'.
It would of been difficult for Motson and Moore to provide interesting commentary on that match to be honest. We only had one commentator available and he had to do the entire 90mins non stop. When you consider this lad is just 17 and is Autistic (which none of noticed) you can appreciate what a good job he actually did for those who could not make the match.
I do hope my young commentator never sees the title of this thread so I wonder if the person who wrote would be kind enough to edit the title? Good luck for the season and hope to see you soon, that's up there and not down here!

Brings up an interesting point in that if it is not pre-publicised about the commentator then it should be valid to judge by general standards. However, it also raises the point that would the commentator want it pre-publicised or would they want their effort judged by 'normal' standards.
And 'normal' standards could just be that it was dead boring because it was a bloody tedious game.
