It will take forever to get it up and running. That's if you ever get your FA charter which I very much doubt.

You do seem very bitter about all of this!

Any comment on what MG said regarding people working off the scheme that shouldn't have been?

I think MG spoke well and indicated his determination to get things set up right.

All very encouraging

Maybe talking about Jamie Day. He appears to be continuing the good community work now under another name. Welling sports community scheme. I'm not sur who he's talking about but it's easy to say with a set up interview.

Is that the same Welling Sports Community Scheme which lists Jim and Louis Dean as its two directors (with Vince Brazil as a former director) and which, until a year ago, was called Welling United Community Scheme?

Your point being ?? If there is something to say then say it. It's all a bit cryptic for a simple man like me. There's no point scoring and yes I do feel slightly bitter Anyway I look forward to seeing a supermarket or housing estate coming soon to a ground near you !!! Pre application ??? Give me a buzz when you're back playing in the park.

That was about as good a return as Laura Robson.

Like MarkX said, no time to squander about petty things. Let's look forward to the fixtures coming out tomorrow.

I'm most looking forward to some new away days.

Nice to see "a new local youth set up" applying for Grants that Welling United had, Charming lot. The gravy train has gone for that mob hopefully. Nice rip off of the badge too to try and make out they are us or connected to us.

That reply early in this thread was absolute gold. They need about 37 snookers now with just pink and black on the table.

Indeed. I do find it rather amusing though that we now appear to be a valued 'brand'... especially after the back to back turds that have impersonated football seasons.
