On Saturday 29th July the club will be holding an open training session from 11am at PVR. Everyone is welcome to attend to watch the team train, with the snack bar and Wings bar also open.

At midday, you will be able to have your photo taken with the team in the style of the usual team photo. This will be available for £15 with all money going into Jamie Coyle's boost the budget fund.

I believe the players will also be around afterwards if you wish to talk with them.

If you are interested in the team photo then please email me on deanshulver@gmail.com so I can get a list together.

Well done to all concerned with this initiative.

This club has sadly lost the connection between players and supporters over the last two seasons and it is high time that we got it back.

I think it was great last night that the management team where there and mixing with the fans and all chatting. The good thing is Coylie and Parky have been here before so they know we have a good bunch of fans that liked both of them and support the team.

Brilliant idea. The club needs to engage more with the supporters and this is a great step in the right direction. Looking forward to it!

Yes, well done all involved. Hope to be along. I've never known anything like it done before and hope it attracts new/fairweather supporters.

We only have 5 confirmed people who want to get their photo done, we need a few more really to make it viable as we are asking the players to stay behind for this to be carried out.

If you are interested then please let me know asap, or there is a chance the photo's may not go ahead.

Yes i will, this also need to be advertised elsewhere too. I.e facebook, twitter and some posters. Not your job at all but just saying, nobody knows about it apart from people here.

Agreed. Lots of people who have done this in the past are not people who come on here.

Excellent point Jamison. Surely this should be advertised on the official website? Not everyone uses social media/forums.

Final arrangements for Saturday.

11.15am is when training will be open to the public. Supporters will not be able to come into the ground before 11.15am as the squad will be conducting a private training session. I can't stress how important that is so please do not come into the ground before 11.15am.

The training session will run from 11.15-11.45am. The squad photo's will be starting at 12 and players will be in the bar from 1pm to meet supporters, have photo's, autographs etc.

Thank you to everyone who organised this mornings event. My son and I thouroughly enjoyed it and hopefully the club will do these again in the future. Bought the home shirt which is really nice. Word of advice for adult sizes - buy the next size up from what you would normally buy as they come up quite snug! Had a nice chat with Mark Goldberg and good to see him on the terraces watching the players too. Seemed to be a really good vibe amongst the players so let's hope we are in for a competitive season. Come on you Wings!

Well organised and good fun morning with my boys enjoying the photo shoot.

The lads on the pitch looked sharp and it was certainly good to see Nanetti out there turning everyone inside out.

Thanks to all that came along today. The photo shoots have provided some great money for boost the budget.

This is definietly something we should try and do more often. Was impressed with Bradley Goldberg and Nanneti. Both looked very sharp.

Can I add my thanks to those of you who came into the shop and got a shirt. Feedback on the style and quality was very positive.

Some shirts are already in short supply or in one case we have run out. I know it seems a long way off but get your orders in now (especially if you need any child sizes) as we only have 11 scheduled home games before Christmas. That includes Millwall on Monday.

They are being passed to the guy who does the programmes to print. Hopefully for the first Saturday home game but will need to speak to Gary.
