First the SAD news -  The Welling United Beer Festival has come to an end after 6 years. The Beer Festival Committee really enjoyed putting on the Festivals and hope that you enjoyed them.

Then the GOOD news The Welling Foundation, which was to be the major beneficiary after a contribution had been made to a local charity in the name of Welling United each year, was not established. In accordance with the agreement reached with the club before the 2015 beer festival ALL monies being held are to be distributed to 3 local charities as part of the Clubs community involvement.

The charities chosen by the Beer Festival Committee were The Chartwell Cancer Trust (Tiger Ward) a charity which already had links with the Club, Bexley Mencap and Carers Support (Bexley).  The charities will be presented with the donations at the pre season friendly against Charlton Athletic on 15 July 2017.

The Beer festival Committee would like to extend their thanks to all who have supported the 6 festivals which they have organised both through their sponsorship and attendance at the festivals.
