Good workout. Terrible weather but pitch was lovely. First half bit ragged but second half team much better, particularly impressed with our No 5 and 8 (did not have teamsheet so not sure on names). Phoenix Sports No 11 was a cracking player, very fast and tricky winger. I was sitting next to Mark Goldberg and told him to sign him up! MG seems a nice bloke, had a brief chat. Tristan Lewis was also in the stands. I asked about Sam Corne and he is without a club so I hope we can get him in on a perm deal.
