Great ball by Pattinson through to pavey who fires it at the keeper from 6 yards.

2 0 on stroke of half time, stretched in wide positions again and to much time for the cross.

Moli on for pavey, he's gone up top in what seems to be a change to 433 goldberg out wide.

Corne for parter then 1 min after that Archie and Tom Richards for healy and jefford.

As I'm writing another cross from out wide and it's 3 0 dover.

It's square pegs time. Corne comes on and is playing Rb and Tom Richards is playing centre mid. Baffling to be honest.

Again as I'm writing dover score for 4 0.

Someone behind me "welling are ****" it may be pre season but we really do seem disjointed at times and all goals conceded have been far to easy.

Dover were a lot better in the second half, a lot sharper and quicker on the ball but we made it easy...the subs killed us a bit.

Richards ended up on left with Pierre and goldberg up top, moli on right.

In my opinion we need 2/3 more games pre season instead of 1.

Played 442 again which I don't think we have the midfield for.

We need a friendly where our forwards can bang in a couple. Can't be much of a confidence boost. However, Truro onwards is what counts

I agree with Jamie that we really could do with maybe 1 or 2 more games before the season to get under way. I think that it could be key to get confidence into the side, especially our forwards to just a bang a few in.

As for the team a hole I think we have a very good and strong side heading into the Truro game. But also feel that the management team needs to establish a system that works for the team, as seen so far 442 have not really been working when used against other opposition.

Furthermore one of the keys factors taken from watching almost every pre-season game this season is our defense. I understand that it is pre-season and Jamie and the management team will mess around with things and test certain stuff to see what works and what don't but with that said I definitely think the defense has been very disjointed and unorganized in games leading to easy goals, Something similar to the start of last year.

Apparently we did play 433 from the off, but you really couldn't see it.
Some good thoughts about it from JC coming regarding the performance tonight, and i think he's got a few tough decisions to make this week.
Moli has to go without a doubt and there is a very good little Italian available who would be the idle replacement for him out wide.
Hate to say it but i wouldn't start JP at the moment unless you drop Gayle and play him centre back with Francis (yes I said Francis) he actually played quite well.
Pavey disappointing right now but I think he has enough to come good over the season.
There are so many clubs around us in Kent and id be calling all of them until one wants to give us a game this Saturday.
My starting line up next game would be -
                                                                Lewington
Parter Gayle or JP Francis Jefford

                                                              Dymond Corne

                                                                     Healy
                                            Pattinson                                  PJD
                                                                   Goldberg

Well I'm glad to see JC can see that losing 5-0 pre-season or not isn't good enough and has the bottle to let the players know that.

This is bye far and away a better group of players with provern pedigree. Which is why it was so disappointing that after the 3rd goal they acted like last years players would have.
But then talking to a few after they were a lot more positive about knowing what went wrong and what needs to improve.
Was just a bad night against a good team, need to work harder in places and start to be the team who is passing well, moving the ball around and putting the opposition on the back foot.
Too many long balls last night when we have some players who are great with the ball at there feet.

I have to admit that pre-season has not filled me with confidence. I recall another pre-season when the talk was of a good season in prospect with KSA filling the shoes of Rosco and knocking in the goals.

i do think the quality is there this year but they do need to be managed / motivated & settled into whatever system we are going to normally play.

keep the faith!

It just seems so disappointing that he said that some players need to look at themselves and he has decisions to make....grief we have not even started yet

It may be pre-season and I understand that our defeats have come to what I would say is much better opposition but this is all getting familiar with last year, let's just hope that we turn at when it really matters at Truro.

Think a bit of team bonding is needed too, dont seem to be a lot of talking on or off the pitch.
Saturday night they all need to go out and get completely hammered together.

Honestly, I don't care what they do to bond if they get wins in the league, and not in a good old relegation scrap.

Over the years we have had some awful pre-seasons and gone on to have good seasons and some excellent pre-seasons followed by very ordinary actual campaigns.

The reason for these games is to iron out the problems so that we are ready for the proper stuff. There is no better start to the season than Truro away for bonding.

Understandably fair point to you Mark and like your self-have saw it happen before your very eyes but it was more the slightly disappointing interview from Jamie after the game. Anyway on to Truro where hopefully the boys can come away with 3 points.
