according to the Dartford website he has signed for them.

Tom Bradbrook has been playing well so I guess that limits Alfie's game time. JC also said they were looking to bring in another player so maybe this frees up some money to bring someone else in?

Struck me as having a poor attitude if I am honest.  Clearly did not like being on bench, shame it had to be Dartford he left us for.

Gave away the penalty which really annoyed JC.

Ffs what is going on? Now confirmed on Dartford twitter account - although he can't play for them tomorrow. I hope we are bringing somebody in.

I said on Saturday I don't think he's gonna sit on the bench for too much longer. But to be honest I haven't seen enough of him to say he warrants playing, come on against truro and was ineffective against a tired defence.

Normally I would say good luck to a departing player but, in this case, I will make an exception!

I will also add that I seem to remeber Dartford fans not being to bothered that he had left...
So how they feel about having him back will be interesting to see.

When Pavey was on loan at Dartford last season, he was also on the bench a few times.

This is the third striker that has departed from Welling since pre-season!

Is Sam Corne still available?

Two of those strikers were inherited by the manager and it was clear, pretty much from day one, that he wasn't overly keen on either (and with good reason in my book)

Should he not be applauded for making early, decisive decisions in order to shape the squad to exactly how he wants it (withing budget of course) *

* Of course should he bring in another Slabber/Tashan/KSA type to replace Pavey then the applause won't last very long!

Just stated a fact. Coyle must have someone lined up or he wouldn't let Pavey go so               soon. The latter didn't exactly set the world alight in his previous loans!

Welling could turn to either PJD or Healy as an emergency striker.

Good grief...it appears chaotic...,3rd game of season ...only 4 on the bench....more leaving....

I know I will be told to shut up but come on....3 games in and we are in a mess players wise....I have never seen so many leave after so few games

JC simply HAS to have better replacements lined up....he says hopefully or as Wingnut says....I am sure there is another KSA who wants a game

The Dartford site states he is unable to play tomorrow night due to FA Regulations (but should be available on Saturday).  That suggests there was a "7 day approach".

Yep, that's what I thought. Two of Dartford's main strikers have been out injured for a while, they brought a bloke in from two leagues below so I suspect Burman was getting a bit of grief from some fans as to a striker replacement. Mind you, they seem to be coping without a recognisable strike force!

Never seen so many players leave since 12months ago that should read.

Far to much negativity on here right now, it's always going to be trial and error with a few players when so many are brought in.

We still have a very good and talented group of players do unless JC brings in KSA or Tashan I think we should just sit back and see for now.

Partly....but ffs...3 games in and we are realising mistakes...,Pavey....Ajala.....

Maybe I am asking too much...but surely we should know who fits the bill better than this....one game from Ajala....3 from Pavey.....

Well lets see who he brings in but we are very short right now

That's great in my opinion. Just 3 games in and sorting problems out straight away.

It must be a positive that if new players are not fit, or good enough, then they are shown the door. BUT it could make forming a settled squad difficult. I suspect that JC has to keep a very small squad to meet the budget restraints but he will need cover for the inevitable injuries and suspensions, unless he's going to just go for short term loan replacements?

 Shut up!

Hardly a mess. Lewington was out of the blue and nobody could foresee that happening. Two forwards left who he inherited and clearly wasn't interested in. We don't know if Pavey wanted to go or Coyle wanted him out or perhaps a bit of both - either way I would expect a replacement (of sorts) sooner rather than later.

The only obvious mistake I can see player wise is/was Ajala. I am hoping that Parter comes back from his loan fully fit and is able to make a contribution as well.

Lol

Mr W.....it is a mess....we havent got a squad to fill a bench let alone cope with the inevitable suspensions.....

Irrespective of who has gone not gone or nearly gone....we are short

Agreed, and even this was understandable. He tore us apart in one game for Torquay and, apparently, he looked sharp in training on the Thursday prior to the match. As he was struggling, he was taken off at half time at Truro and removed from the wage bill. We may well still hold his playing registration so, in theory, he could return when fully fit.

If that is the case then we are just light on bodies and need 4 or 5 to come in

Should be working with a squad of 16 to 18....if we cannot fill a bench and or have to use academy players then we are short

i was not surprised you let this boy go I was surprised our manager approached him preseason as he didn't do much on loan here but this lad is on fire and showing a class above that I never knew he had and probably many others didn't. Our No1 striker at the moment and a massive part of why we're at the top.

Having Tom Bradbook at DFC for a while I can say pavey is streets ahead as a player and in a different class. I'm surprised by his progression and we're over the moon he's with us.

I am a Tom B fan, just like his brother,  100% every time every game without fail.

He simply was n't fully fit for us earlier in the season. I'm not convinced we came back early enough or had enough pre-season games but Bradbrook looked sharper despite having a year out.

I can see Dirtford winning the league I'm afraid.
