A great win, I've not enjoyed a second half so much for quite a while, there did seem to be a bit of a gap in mid field at times but that's being over critical, well done to all, now for 3 more points on Tuesday and the start of a run in the cup on Saturday.
The crowd looked a bit light in numbers, the performance deserved more, and for once, credit to the ref who also had a good game.
Even Stevens first half and a much better second half which resulted in a good win. Football is all about opinions, but I was a little surprised when Jeffrey Monakana did not get MOM. Hopefully we are now on our way but we are rather playing with fire without a second keeper on the bench. Do we not have one? If Dillon cannot play on Saturday we are in trouble.

In three words I can sum up everything i've learnt in life; it goes on.
I thought we weren't at the races 1st half. They had several half chances and thought it was a good shout for a pen. I liked the look of Bojangles. Needed a couple of extra touches at times. Eli Phipps looked ok too. Took his goal well. One Joe's goal was the best headed goal since Loick Peres powered one in against Bromley away back in the good old days. Still lots not to like. More work needed on the training ground. But.... Bloody well done for grinding it out. I've criticised Jack Parkinson this season. Well done Jack! Much much better

After a pretty ordinary first half we came out much sharper in the second half and deserved the win. Both the new strikers showed promise - Phipps visibly improved after his goal and I think we will get more from Flo when he gets more minutes under his belt. Both wide players tracked back better than they did on Tuesday and when they keep it simple and get the crosses in more quickly we looked a real threat as with the second goal. We also seem to be playing more through the midfield in recent games. Nice to keep a clean sheet as well.
However I do think the 4-4-2 formation with two out and out wingers may come unstuck against better teams in this league especially away from PVR. It puts a lot of pressure on the two central midfield players and a third player in there in some games might be a better bet. I think Jebb can count himself unlucky to be left out a couple of times of late. Maybe he will get a start tomorrow with Healy suspended??
Hopefully another home win tomorrow and we can get ourselves into mid table and kick on from there.
