Was not able to go today - sounds like a proper dire performance. Near full strength side too so no excuses. Well done Haringey and sooner Goldberg and Bradbook are back the better.

Not our worst team performance of the season- we were worse against Hampto. Haringey did the most important thing well against us which was defending set pieces. Clearly neither of our two strikers today were fully fit but taking Bojaj off was probably a mistake. We lost our heads after Nanetti 's missed penalty. Jefford had a very poor game.
Gutted.

Well..... normally I will try to defend the team or look for the positive points. However I can't defend that today. Credit though to Haringey who came with a gameplan and worked very hard for eachother. It wasn't pretty, but they did a professional job.
Very little highlights to find from that today, apart from Joe Healy. Took the game by the balls and played very well 2nd half. One of the players who actually looked up for it and driving the team forward.
However, the majority of them were bloody awful for the most part. Jefford is a shell of the player we had a few years ago. Countless silly fouls including the penalty. For one of the higher earners, he has not delivered all season. Up front we don't look potent enough, I know injuries have not helped but there was little there today. Monakana, so hot and cold and couldn't beat a man today. Set pieces again were so poor. The amount of corners that went straight to the first man to clear... I watched the academy side play on Wednesday and the lad for them was putting some brilliant corners and deliveries in. How difficult is it to beat the first bloody man. They could have been down to 10 or even 9 before half time but the ref can't be blamed for the loss, we just could not break them down.
We should not be losing to teams 2 leagues below us at home. We should have done a professional job and been up for it. Not good enough by any stretch of the imagination, and there are some players who should be looking at the exit door if they don't back their ideas up!
Wednesday is a bit different but I expect a massive reaction at Havant next Saturday.
Up the Wings (just about).

Congratulations to Harringey for being organised enough to go into the game with a designated penalty taker. One known to
have the ability to kick a ball meaningfully from 12 yards.
Not sure wht anybody would be surprised. We have been rubbish since pre season. Play aomless long ball football lacking any real game plan. A squad tanked up with loans and short term signings.
Now the shock has worn off....we are always rubbish in the cups so this isn't really any sort of surprise. Man U and co will lose to teams 2 leagues below them so as annoying as it is, it isn't the end of the world. We could just do with the cash....another season where everyone tries to care about the FA Trophy awaits
if you fail to score from a penalty in a even game you know that is going to give the opposition a boost so get your head up and get back on your game... which we patently didn't.
How many times at any level have you seen referees even decisions up? Don't give them the opportunity to do it immediately.
You can have bad days, you can just not be good enough, you can be mentally slack. Don't do all three on the same day collectively (Healey excepted).
Agree with everything polo said but management team need to look at plan b n how to motivate the team as at moment there is nothing to show that have either.
fullbacks and wingers need to improve their games as most things that are going wrong are in those areas..
Because most of our players have played or parent club are in leagues above they think they are better than the opponents. They are fecking wrong. Give me younger hungrier players any day. Fecking squeeling and moaning because the opposition put in a hard tackle...... Pathetic. Fecking man up. Fight fire with fire. Trying to get opponents sent off.... Pathetic. Fecking man up. Well done Haringey. Played like men not pussies. Lastly. We have a penalty taker don't we. Don't we. Who THF is it. Are we down to Rock,Paper,Sissors again. We had a manager,Captain, coach on the field and it was down to who grab the ball first who got to take it. Feck me. The goalkeeper could of thrown his cap on that penalty. All in all. WE ARE ****E!!!!n
Nanetti won the penalty and clung on to the ball to take it like his life depended on it. Sadly, he took his penalty like his worse enemy's life depended on it. And then the oppo went straight up the other end and showed him how to take it. Even worse, was his reaction at full-time.
The "second-spellers" generally need to take a long, hard look at their contribution so far this season.
