He can no doubt be a game changer for us but his overall performance is way below what we need at the moment. The system we play requires the wingers to help out the midfield and defence but 95/100 he just switches off. Id love to know what his stats are for assists per match compared to Archie and Christians. He for me was one of the players Coyle was talking about in his after match intervie.

I can tell you for a fact that his assists are better than Nanetti's because I can remember one goal he set up! I can recall at least two of Healy's goal that Monakana has put on a plate for him (Poole at home, Weston away) and there are probably more. Although he had a poor game last Saturday he almost set a goal on Saturday with a great diagonal when Bradbrook hit the bar.
You are right that the defensive side of his game needs a lot of work but hopefully the coaching team will address that. Going forward he is a huge asset and I think the positives far outweigh the negatives.
He's not perfect. Who is? But he's damn better than the dross of last year and a few other wide players we've had down the years. I don't expect him to shine much over the next few weeks either. The pitches will deteriorate from now untill February which won't suit a player like him who likes to run with the ball. I hope he proves me wrong though.
With you on this one Wingnut, although I don't think Nanetti deserves all the flack he gets.
Maybe Monakana's football ability and Nanetti's work rate would be the perfect combination?
Nanetti is the sort of player people always say they want, and now are complaining about .... WTF!
Good player IMO, works hard, settled in. Who have we had in the past three years who was better on the left?

He does run round a lot and works very hard. However his end product is minimal. One home game around 6 weeks ago i counted 1 shot on goal, 1 cross and around 6 or 7 times he forgot it was a team game and lost the ball.
Why did the management team at the meet the manager night say they wanted to add a permanent goalkeeper and a left sided midfielder to the squad? With some coaching he could be a very good player, i thought he played much better today when he played in the middle.
