Very nice! Very nice indeed! Well done to the management and squad. Looking like we are growing in confidence now. It's a good time to go on a winning run. Hoping we can keep it up. Some very difficult games ahead though. It's going to be a very close run in for the playoffs COYW

And....we very nearly had a goal of the season contender with a Coombes overhead kick that rattled back off the crossbar

Philpot lob for the equaliser was sublime

Could and should have been 7 or 8

Great result Wings. Hopefully this and another good display will persuade people to sign up and pay for early bird season tickets before the Havant match, no doubt it will help ensure we can retain our best players for next season and start negotiating with early targets.

Fantastic result, the three up top has been an absolute game changer. Feeling very confident going into the end of the season! Well done all.

Fair play Wings, super last two games. Two tough ones coming up though and the home must improve. Jamie Philpot is a talent!

Great result. Playoffs looming. While I naturally dont look at your league position week after week it seems theres a turn around here with some decent form, chipped in with an occasional defeat/ draw but pushing you and now keeping you up the table.

Be great to have 2 Kent sides in th playoffs.

Playoff qualification is going to be tight for the last couple of places and may well come down to goal difference, so fingers crossed our 3 up front stay fit and prolific!

Well done to all concerned for the win on Saturday. It was an emphatic second half performance and, if anything, the final score flattered them more than it flattered us. It is not the greatest pitch there anyway and with the all the bad weather of late it was not the game to try and pass it around. We had to play longer and earlier and I though tactically we got it right especially in the second half. If we can keep the door shut at one end we most certainly have the firepower to cause damage at the other end. There was some good interplay between the three forwards and Goldberg was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet himself. It is asking a lot of a three man midfield especially on a big and heavy pitch like it was on Saturday but getting the ball forward quickly is the way forward for us I think over the next month.

Defensively we looked pretty solid considering two of our regular back four were not playing and we have wide options on the bench should we need to adopt a different formation during a game. The gaffer is still perhaps our most consistent centre half and, although I realise it is hard work playing and managing, I hope he keeps himself in the mix as a player for the rest of the season. As I have said before I think it suits us a bit more playing away from home with the current personnel and/or formation but we need to find a way to make it work at PVR.

I do have one small gripe however! As Parky said in his interview their goal was a good delivery and a very good header but there was nobody within touching distance of the bloke when he headed it. There was another near post corner from the other side in the first half which very could easily have led to another goal. Lest we forget the injury time goal that Wealdstone score which was also a unchallenged near post header...with things so tight in the last few weeks of the season we can ill afford to give away cheap goals by repeating the same mistakes...

On to Bath on Friday and hopefully a decent crowd and more points to establish ourselves in the play off positions.

Up the Wings!
