Hemel Hempstead go sixth and we drop to seventh and Braintree are back on our heels courtesy of a dubious penalty.

FTConcord Rangers(0)14(2)East Thurrock United
FTHemel Hempstead Town(1)11(1)Bath City
FTWeston-super-Mare(0)12(0)Braintree Town

Incidentally, victory on Saturday meant that we were mathematically safe from relegation. The last time that we achieved that in March was the year we won the Conference South!

But if (when) Chelmsford win their game in hand at Bognor, they will push us out of 7th.

Just emphasises how critical every point now is, we must win on Friday.

Interesting looking at the table...we are one of the highest scorers however have let nearly the most goals in of the top half

Defence still worries me....

Nothing much we can do about other teams results - there are a lot of clashes between potential play off teams to come over the last week of the season.....we have one ourselves on Friday! What we need to do is turn the away form into something similar at PVR.

I assume we had someone from the management team at Hemel last night as we are playing both those sides in our last seven games.

The defence was tighter (particularly at home) earlier in the season when Coyle was playing. Whilst I understand his desire to be on the touchline (a problem with player managers) am glad to see him back in the team. Would like him to stay in the team for the rest of the season (even if Parky returns) but doubt he would pick himself over a fit Parky even though in my view he's been comfortably our best performing centre half this season.

Next season if Coyle hardly wants to play then specialist centre half cover will be required.
