Yes feel for the Bath fans, speaki to them in The Hinge beforehand it had taken them 5 hours to get here, also feel for the catering staff with all those burgers & sausages unsold.

on the positive side it should mean well have a full strength team for the match on Monday.

Full respect to Barry Hobbins, Danny, Keith and others who tried so hard to get the pitch fit to play yesterday. Apparently Barry had begun work at 7am - and that sponge roller thingy looks hard to push at the best of times let alone when you wring out a swimming pool every roll!  Amazingly, Dartford managed to get their game on but apparently it was touch and not quite so go throughout and, judging by some pics, their pitch did not look in any better shape than ours. I hope E&B and Q's game is off on Monday or we could have problems for the match on Saturday.

It was only the area near the dugout that was badly affected but playable at the start. the ref spoke to the managers and the 2 captains told him to get on with the game. Its wasnt unplayable at anytime but sticky in 1 area. The ref, managers and captains did well to agree the same.
