I wonder how many points we have dropped now after conceding late in games. It would have been good to get a win because st albans beat braintree 2-1 and chelmsford won 1-0 against concord rangers.
Bloody hard luck by the sound of it. Shame about the Penalty miss. Jebb will miss a game now as for Parkinson sounds like a bloody stupid red card. Having said that, well done to the management and squad for almost taking all the points. COYW
Think Jebb got one yellow for throwing the ball away in first half and another for kicking it away in second half......also very stupid if that's accurate......thought overall we were very good all over the park....always hard to lose 2 points in dying seconds......but a good point nevertheless....they have not lost at home since October vs Truro....... COYW !!!
Gutted but well battled by the lads. Ref was a nightmare for both teams, not sure how long he played at the end but such a sickener to let one in that late. At least with the suspensions/injuries we will have straight swaps but does leave us very light on the bench.
We have to take the positives and at least got a point with 10 men from a decent team.
Take the positive of a point away from home against a top side, well done and well fought.
The negative is the red cards and injuries that will leave us short of experience, not sure if we will be able to bring in any more loan players?
Looking forward, wins against Bath, Whitehawk, Weston-super-mare & Chippenham are all realistic, plus some return from the Havent & Hemel games should see us in the playoffs. But every match is obviously critical and silly yellow cards for throwing the ball away cannot be tolerated.
Wasn't there yesterday so can't comment on the game itself - I can confirm however that following Welling United on social media is very hard work at times and not for the faint hearted!
Before the game a point would have seemed like a decent result but not come 5 o'clock! I have seen some stills from after the penalty save and the offside call there looks very harsh indeed. The red card in the second half clearly made it very difficult to hang on but gutted for the lads who clearly put in a strong shift and to be caught that late (with a deflected shot as well) makes it even more galling. I can imagine the frustration at the end of the game must have been incredible but we still should have maintained better discipline. The game is hard enough without shooting ourselves in the foot and we are running a small squad and can do without needless suspensions at such a crucial stage of the season.
Still six games left and still all to play for. We need to try and convert these good recent away performances into good performances (and results) at PVR over the next three weeks starting with Havant on Saturday. It is still very much in our own hands and a plays off spot is still very attainable.
Moments away from an excellent result. Very unfortunate.
While im sure you wont want to us any favours, havant at home is a massive game for you for the playoffs and you could really do us a favour. Also youre more than capable judging by some of your results.
Saying this when we beat them a few months at our place they did play some great footfall.
Best of luck.

A two match ban is better news I suppose, but both of them will miss the crucial game against Hemel. Just looked at the "offside" goal we scored against Hampton - absolute travesty. The 'keeper punched the ball out putting our forwards in play - they cannot be offside from when the penalty is taken as they have to be behind the ball or the kick has to be retaken and Bradley is clearly onside with a Hampton player in front of him when he runs in and connects with the cross. Spitting. Also, as someone was shouting out (from our bench) I thought the ball had to go forward for a player to be deemed offside?

Weve had some absolute shockers this season from the officials. Wealdstone and Chelmsford at home, Hampton away, Braintree away, Concorde away etc. If anyone thinks it all evens itself out in the end then were running out of time.

saw the video. Can only hope referees and linos look at highlights. The decision to give offside from the pen save is an absolute shocker, they should apologise. Everyone makes mistakes but when its this poor they should apologise in recognition that they got it wrong then there might be more respect. But the officials go away and we all think they think they got it right so leaves a bad taste. I never normally comment on officials but there are a lot of questions over the season and only a very few god ones.
