Seems like Wilks made a blunder for their first goal.

Disappointing, thats points dropped and only 7 from 5 matches is not play-off form, but still a long way to go.

It is ridiculously(sp) early - new team and we are playing well. If we had won the Eastb game it would look different.

Just been unlucky - and that pen on Tues still wasnt one after watching the highlights and it changed the game. Luck will start going our way sooner or later

God forgive me but I popped down to Dirtford today just to have a peep at them. Its early in the season but **** me they were dog****. Wealdstone were very decent but had an easy day. Jamie Coyle is working his magic on them.
We have no problems compared to what I saw of them today. The natives were very restless indeed. Hee! Hee!

You dont need 4 centre backs. You dont sell your genuinely only source of 20 goals a season and replace with a loan of someone who hasnt scored 5 goals in a season. You dont leave someone whos unplayable at times on the bench and ask your left back to try and beat defenders and get crosses in when he cant do that.

Needs to offload a centre back and bite the bullet and send back the loan and go get a goalscorer before the play offs become a dream rather than a reality.

There are some good players at the club no doubt. Jebb, Kissock, Kiernan, LGhoul but there isnt one striker who can get 20. They are hard to come by and we sold ours when he was under contract and replaced him with an out of form gamble that hasnt come off. Dont give me we would have won if we took our chances as the person signed to take those chances is missing most of the chances.

If he is to stay get LGhoul and Kiernan out  wide and Jebb behind him and go 4231 its glaringly obvious surely?

Jamie Phillpot would have been cheaper and would have scored more and hes probably still available at Dartford. Ralston Gabriel is another who would have got more and would have been a better bet.

I suspect Mr Coyle is stepping up his efforts to persuade Joe Healy into a Dartford shirt.

Yes 1 goal for Ebbsfleet last season and 6 for Dartford in 30 odd appearances .Bit of a gamble replacing someone who scored over 30 goals at a goal a game for us in his last season? Id suggest so.

Youre spot on. And Ive got my humble pie out ready to eat if this continues. The way we are right now you guys who said you will finish above us and well struggle look to be spot on. No complaints we were dog s*** and its not the first time this season.

Noticed some decent performances by you lot even if results not going your way, so my selling supporting friends tell me.

Alternatively, keep all four centre backs and put one of them - Thierry Audel - up top. He is not doing a bad job as a striker!

Hard to argue with much of that!

A frustrating period.

A lot of knicker wetting on here after FIVE games! I have only seen the two home games and we played well for spells in both those games. From what I understand we could easily have nine points out of nine away rather than just the four.

I like Mills and he brings a lot to the team. I reckon when he gets one he will start to get a few. He brings a fair bit to the team outside of goals and we have plenty of people who can chip in with goals. How many teams have scored 8 goals in their first five games without their centre forward scoring..??

I do agree that the balance of the squad is a bit strange with four centre backs and only one inexperienced player to cover full back positions. There is a young lad at Cray called Williams who I reckon could play full back on both sides...

Keep the faith and give this time to gel and for the manager to work out the best combinations and get L'Ghoul out there from the off!

Up the Wings!

No knicker wetting here. Mills will come good with goals but, meanwhile, Thierry is obliging. We do need another forward though who brings something different to the other two main strikers, and I am glad to hear that Steve King is looking to solve that issue. I suspect you will go apoplectic if Joe Healy turns out for Dartford!

Why would anyone go apoplectic about that?
