I would give all the players who started on saturday a rest with maybe exception of Battersby who could probably do with games/goals under his belt:-

Hyde
Goodfellow
Rowland
youth player
youth player
carthy
youth player
youth player
youth player
sam
Battersby

Then mix the bench up with maybe Boateng, soloman and a few other youth players.
Not sure where the young lad who bas on the bench on saturday plays but looked good in pre match warm up so probably give him a game.
Also depends if Harper or Green are anywhere near fitness as they may get a run out for a half maybe?

The timing of this fixture is s**t because of the delay in the competition which was the result of 1 tie from the previous round which had to be arranged more times than I can remember.

Looking at the fixture list I would go with a higher youth involvement probably 5/6 starting and 2/3 on the bench.  This would hopefully give the majority of the 1st team a week's rest before they embark on a run of 10 (possibly 11 with the Thurrock fixture) games in less than a month whilst ensuring a reasonable chance of winning the tie.

Had we been able to play the game in February I would probably have gone with 3 youth players as we did against Dartford.

Timing is fine with me

as with all of these tinpot cups put out the kids - ensure non of our first team squad AT ALL gets injured and get knocked out ASAP

It is an irrelevent venture

I'd like us to win the damned thing but don't want  key players injured. I'd play all the bench warmers and those in need of matches and the rest from the youth team.

It'd give some of the kids a chance to play with the big boys and be good experience for them.

I wouldn't think Maidstone will want to put a full side out either what with them being top of Ryman South.
