What can Adie do?? hes been to league clubs, sorted quality loans...... and then is made to look a **** when the club wont expand the budget by a few quid to cover the expenses etc.....

There is no lack of appreciation on my part for what Ade has done. I know just how much ball breaking activity he has undertaken this season to achieve what he has - little wonder he's had to change his car!!!!!
My point is that Ashford have taken the gamble to ensure that they don't drop out of the Ryman, we haven't which really says however hard Ade tries the club do not want to get into the National Conference.

In my rush to get out I didn't credit the players for their part in our success, they really have some balls and I wouldn't put it past them to make the playoffs no matter how many obstacles are put in the way. Its obvious that they would walk through walls for Ade - that's what I call team spirit and its something you can't buy.

192 at one game add the ground rent for the game.. Work out the money lost on gate and expenses... Multiply that x number of games "away" for home games... AND
You will see how much is lost and its not far off the shortfall.
There is a few quid from the trophy ,FA Cup etc plus Adie aint gone over budget.
The shortfall in loss of earnings PLUS the cup money would have paid for the lights.
I can see why barrie chose to hang it out, believeing we would get a grant but i think he needs to hold his hands up and also now get the lights in ASAP.
If we were to get in and they sling us out cos of the lights there will be uproar, theres already enough saying its sloppy by the club and hurting us,
Lets hope barrie can get the lights in pronto.
Tough game tomorrow but there Manager (Class Bloke) has said their players are down and a few are tired. they also have 8 games this month so they are on a downer too.
