Its all in our hands - help from Thurrock or Yeading would be good but we shouldn't need it. I am going for wins all the way for the rest of the season - including the plays offs.
I think idealy we should try and secure a play off place in the next two games if possible, thus being able to blood some more youth members, match fitness for anyone coming back from injury and also give the lads a well deserved rest but we can't get everything we want and looking at it, we need to take it at a game at a time, forget Bedford and Hayes, lets focus on Basingstoke and take a step further in the league.

From the clubs point of view a third/fourth place finish may be prererable as this would mean a play off game on a Sat, therefore avoiding having to arrange another ground for a mid week game.
Having said that I'm not entirely sure of which posiiton plays which and what the dates are-anyone help out?
Last I saw was that the semi-final play-off, first legs (5 v 2 and 4 v 3) are both to be played on Wednesday, May 2 (kick off 7.45pm) with the second legs being played on Saturday, May 5 (2 v 5 and 3 v 4), kick off 3pm. The play-off final will now take place on Sunday, May 13 (Kick off 5pm) at Stevenage Borough.

Semis will be decided over two matches. The winner of the final will be promoted to the Football Conference. If any team in a playoff position is ineligible to move up to the next step then the teams finishing 6th and 7th will enter the playoffs. If this still does not produce 4 eligible teams then the highest placed team(s) will receive a bye(s)
