*** Wellingmarshmellow is the new TINPOT League champion and, at 16, the youngest, after a 1-0 victory over Taz and James's defeat to Loyalboro gave him an unassailable four-point advantage at the top of the National Division. He's also unbeaten all season and if he avoids defeat against Gareth next weekend will become the first player to go a whole TINPOT League competititon undefeated. Congratulations Marshy! Any one of seven players can finish as runner-up but its Loyalboro who sits in second at present after his win over James. The Eastbourne man is a point ahead of ILC in third and James in fourth, while The Trader, Taz and Ukrainian Phil are a point further back. At the bottom, E.D.'s defeat to already relegated Chalmers leaves him needing to beat ILC next week and hope results elsewhere go his way to avoid the drop (Chalmers' win is his first since he beat ILC 5-0 on the opening day of the season!). Beijing Red occupies the final relegation place going into the final week with Yeoman two points ahead of him.
