I know it's a very big ask, but there is still a little chance that we may sneak into the play-offs.
After Saturday's result at Bedford I definitely thought it was all over, but after tonight's results with Bishops Stortford drawing and Newport losing, we can just make the play-offs if other results go our way later in the week and have that little bit of luck that we deserve.
Beat Hayes on Saturday and there's always a chance.
One thing is certain and that is is it going to be a really tense last day.
If the results go as I predicted a while ago, assuming we beat Hayes, I fear we may lose out on goal difference. However, as we saw when we met Basingstoke a very tired side can lose to a fresher side. Newport have WSM who are relegated (but have only had 6 games in the last month and got a draw against Eastleigh last time out) could play for pride and go down with a bang and Cambridge (for whom it will be the 9th game in 5 weeks as opposed to Newports 13th and have won their last 2) have had a weeks rest so its not going to be easy for them.

If Eastbourne win tonight it will make their game with Braintree on Saturday very interesting. What odds on all 22 players still being on the pitch at 90 mins in that one?
I think if Newport win tonight then they must be favourites to reach the playoffs.
Realistically, we're out of it. We need too many things to happen to get in the playoffs.
