WHO should be the manager? Will anyone take the job who is any good?
If you have someone who isnt listed, then say so in your post.

Somehow Tom I don't think we can compete when the likes of Stoke City offer our manager a job do you ??
Bit early to speculate on a replacement although I suppose Phil Handford has to be in the running. Surprised you didn't mention the Tonbridge combo in your list of possibles................
I just feel if Adrian had had some backing and support and given a chance we would have kept him, had he been on contract we would have got money for him.

I forgot to add that if Fat Wallet gets anywhere near PVR in any capacity then I (and I suspect many others) will never set foot in PVR again !!
I didn't see my name in the list of potential candidates. I have applied twice in writing - once before INQ got the job when I got a very nice written reply and the second time when Parker took over and Graham didn't bother with an official reply and told me just to **** off !!
I will add you, theres a rumour floating around and if true we really might aswell look for ryman league directions already for the season after next!!
On that basis i hope Barney gets it, but would he take it??

Firstly, well done to Adie, he has worked his nuts off for us over the time he has been here, picked up a couple of gems along the way, and we've had 2 cracking seasons. Who would have thought that when we were sittin at the foot of the table under Parker! Secondly. i've not a clue who we should go for in terms of our next manager or for that matter who would opt to join the club with only one player on the books for next season.
I cant speak for Jim, although I suspect his views will be similar, However,
I can assure everyone that I have no intention at all of contemplating this position. The managers job at Conference South standard demands someone with more experience than I have, and should ideally be filled by a proven candidate who has previously worked at this level - or even better, above.
I'm very happy to debate the merits of my inclusion in the voting system with anyone, however, smart comments from people who dont even know me, or my background, are very dissappointing.
I have coached this year at Dulwich Hamlet, working with the first team and enjoyed every second of it. Work for the youth section for Welling United has also been very enjoyable and we still have much more we would like to do.
Glad we agree. I feel that First team and any reserve team managers have to be qualified for the job.
How can you coach Dulwich and be at welling?
Surely a conflict of interests?
How can Hector Mackie be on Stevange's books and be at Welling, wouldn't that be a conflict of interests? Yet he still puts in a performance for Welling so I don't mind.
Also, this is non league football, not full time, Dulwich probabally only train twice a week, leaving 3 days within the week for Welling I assume...

I propose that Neil Cugley of Folkestone Invicta should be considered for the Position of new Manager. He has done a great job at Folkestone despite having a very modest budget. Unfortunately, because of their location, players are not inclined to do the extra travelling to the coast and, therefore, his options are limited. They constantly punch above their weight in Ryman Premier (although they almost came unstuck this season) and he, most importantly, engenders a great Team Spirit through the Squad. It is vital that we make an appointment as soon as possible in order to give the new Manager every chance of picking up Free Transfers and re-signing any existing players that he may want. I appreciate that we must not make a hasty decision but time is of the essence!
Maybe if we had a manager we would have kept the good players and they would not have been head hunted.
This is looking far from good. Where is the news from the club about who has signed for next season, Are they actually bothered, or trying to get them signed up? or are they just happy to let our best players go?
Can it get any worse? When 1 or 2 start leaving they all will. All the ones we would have kept anyway.
Well , If prebble has retired through old age, not worth me doing it. besides, creative center midfield players at that level are like a chocolate teapot.
Hope you do well, been impressed this season.

For those who don't know in the World net competition the Welling supporters team won their group on day 1 and moved into the knockout stages. On day 2 they beat Peterborough on penalties which I think took them into the final 16 where they lost to Fulham.

Well Kegan & Mr Turpie were not there this year as a matter of fact Mr Turpie is yet to go to a worldnet.
This was my last comp before retiring as manager and the boys were superb throughout my stint as manager. We won our group and on the sunday won on penalties v peterborough and what also is missed from the records we lost to fulham on the GOLDEN GOAL!
Over the weekend the new manager broke his shoulder and the captain injured an ankle on Saturday and was unable to play on the Sunday.
Thank you to my two captains in my stint as manager Matt & Rob you did everything a captain wants and good luck Waggers in your retirement i would say the team will miss you but that would be a lie!
