While may other clubs have issues press interviews and are signing players, Welling appear to be very quiet and we only hear of people leaving. If we are trying to attract players surely getting a few pieces of news out would help?

Dover have advertised nationally for a Manager and are in the press to that effect.

It does seem to be rather strange that theres no news coming from Park view Road on the Manager, players and Floodlight situation. Its only 6 weeks to pre season after all.

So have we done away with pretending to have a chairman now and Barrie will take on that name properly? I hope so.

WELLING chairman Barrie Hobbins hopes to have secured the services of a new manager by next week as he attempts to find Adrian Pennock's successor, writes Alex Leach.
