I know this is a Welling board but some of you guys know me as a welling supporter.You know the history some of us had with Langney Sports and you even sung out against it for us one game at Eastbourne Bugger a few years ago.Well as you know I left Bugger in disgust when they changed the name from Langney Sports without consulting any fans or giving us any options.Well a couple of us decided we were not going to be shat over and left the club after pleas from the chairman and all concerned, we had principles. Well our principles cost us 4 years in the County league.The first year we came second in county 2, then this year we won County 1 and achieved promotion in to the Rymans South Div 1.Now we are back in Southern league football with a new club who care about their fans, have a history[ oldest club in Sussex-1881] a decent side and are going places with their fans. Its a real family club.Yes we will be in Buggers shadows for a few more years but its a dirty,oily,foul smelling shadow and its only a matter of time before it falls down in the rain
As for me, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a trip to PVR in the Trophy

We have a supporters side and maybe once the fixtures are out we could tie in a a game in the morning before you play Bugger down here in Eastbourne [if its a Saturday, recently its always been a midweek game].
