Following the fallout from Fisher sign up Rivs immediately and give us all a lift! That said I fear he'll follow the money eg Bromley but would love to be proved wrong.

Good shout - as long as we play him where he is most dangerous and that is not in the middle as Fisher did

It would be great to see him back at the Club again!

I don't think there would be many fans who wouldn't welcome Rivs back with open arms.

It would be a fantastic first signing for the new management team.

Has anyone kept track of Rivs since he joined Fisher?

Is he still the same player we remember from a few years ago?

As MarkX has said many of us last saw him playing a central midfield role and he certainly didn't look the same player to me.

I suppose that will all come down to money - It was good to see Graham go over to Rivs after the away game last year - Will he want to play part time again and indeed has he a choice?

I would like to see him get back to the days of cutting in from the wing creating or scoring himself

Ahh those were the days and could solve the lack of Bod problem

Rivs one side and Ellis the other with a couple of decent strikers - now I am dreaming!!!

Rivs was quality . no doubt about that but he must be near 30 now and remember he left for the money. Also dropped down a level.

Or is that irrelevant?

Good point

Are we remembering the past and hoping it was now or can he still hack it

Don't expect he would come cheap either as he is moving from full time

Bexley extra reports that Neil smith is interested in bringing Rivs back to PVR and is having talks with him this week though Grays are interested too.

Another target is former Woking defender Gary MacDonald.

Also reported is Ben Lewis' denial that he has signed for Maidstone.
