LOL Paul

Im pissing myself to be honest, Copy and pasting goes on all the time. And if you want to post something concerning the paper have the decency to register and do it properly.

How about writing that Leon is at Crabble this afternoon as Dover make a last ditch attempt to sign him??

The fact Leon is hawking himself around, i would say JUST GO.... Rather have someone not as good who could improve and who wants to play for us.

PS the Newsshopper is a poor 3rd behind Kent Messenger and Bexley Times, sometimes giving us a few inches! I hope this improves this season, i also Hope Matthew panting will be Neils number one source for interviews as we get much more copy and more updates from the Messenger.

If you are reading this Matthew keep it up, its appreciated.

According to Matthew Panting in the Extra Leon's future will be sorted by the wekend.  Neil is speaking with him and reports that Leon ideally wants full time football but has verbally agreed to stay at PVR.  The real fly in the ointment is that there is a League Club interested though they are not believed to be too keen on the matter going to a tribunal for a fee to be set.

Neil is holding 2 trial games , on Tuesday and Thursday (next week?) and these are expected to feature 15 players who were not at PVR last season.

JgFC,
The News Shopper is more internet led in terms of sports coverage now. You might not like it in comparison to the more traditional print version (and I do understand to an extent why some may prefer this), but one of the benefits is stories like the above one can be put out straight away instead of having to wait until the end of the week when the KT and KM are published.
As far as Leon being at Dover today, Neil was very confident this was a no-goer as Leon apparently blew them out on Monday. If what you say is true I can imagine Neil will not be a happy bunny, but as you rightly point out, perhaps Dover are welcome to him if this is the case.
I will look into your idea of registering for this site as well, although I'm still waiting for your e-mail : )

Best wishes

Paul

Although I didn't get to see many home games last season ( work etc ) I thought that Leon had a decent time. He would be on my list to retain, but, if he is that desperate to gain first team football, then let him leave. It would be a shame, but if he wants the money rather than playing for a decent side, so be it.

Paul i still dont think leon will sign for Dover but they were trying to sign him today to unveil him and Grazioli tomorrow night.

If he signs for them he wont acheive anything. If he stays here he can develop, I can understand if he went to Barnet but they tried to tap up Daisy on contract and didnt want to pay a fee.

Maybe you should phone Fairclough up and ask him why he wants Welling players and wont pay for them?? Leon will go for a tribunal if he goes , add that to the Keds tribunal and it should help Neil bring in some Quality. Id quite like Neil to say ok Leon, sign elsewhere and we will have the tribunal money. Not sure if he can offer a peppercord contract now as he offered terms and Leon declined so maybe he can and we still get a fee.

LEON, Jon Wallis is your mate, He signed for Dover to be fair to them, so sign for Welling. Decent standard, Decent Coaches and Neil is trying to get a squad to challenge. if that aint good enough go and rot in the Ryman but its getting a joke, Cant even believe you contemplated ONE LEVEL ABOVE KENT LEAGUE. You aint giving too many signs your heart is at the club mate. Welling should be on TV this year , may get a cup run, may even go up.... What will Dover Do?? Maybe get in the playoffs in Ryman 1 (AGAIN..) Its a no brainer, the fans love you at Welling so do the decent thing and commit

Talking of Keds, when is the tribunal due to meet, or did I miss that?
