I couldn`t get to the Charlton game and can`t comment on the players on show that night. But.... It seems to me that we lack fire power in front of goal. I was encouraged by some of the comments about the performance but most seem to think we need a good 20 goal a year man. jgfc keeps on about this Vines fella from Tooting. He knows the Non league scene pretty well. Why dont we go and get Vines. It could make our season. If he can bang in 40 odd goals at their level I think 15 to 20 at Blue sq south level isn`t out of the question. He will get more than Harper at any rate.
We deffo need a striker though, i just personally feel that SOMEONE like Paul Vines is within our compass. Hes hinted he would go to a club at our level and he would be a good bet to get 20 goals. 23 years old. And wouldnt break the bank.
