After a few e mails received over the weekend I have been asked to run this past you .

The playing budget has been set and the manager is looking to bring in a few ! with in that budget .

If we as the fans want to help here is a way.

One player at say 200 a week inc Tax etc 38 week contract.

Needed £7600

If we sell £1 shares in him we need 200 fans to pledge £1 per week for the season = £38. We will sell shares in blocks if you want.

The money would have to be paid by direct debit or paid in full. I will pay you next week when I get paid will not be good enough .

Each month there will be draw when each share goes in the hat winners gets free tickets wine etc

The money raised will be added to the budget we will not pick the player but one will be ours and named .

This scheme if we get it going will enable the fans who live away to be part of the club will enable all those who get in for nothing to help .

This is not a a supporters club post but mine with the views of few fans.

Lets do this , i want one hundred PEOPLE to say yes, you can pay 75 quid straight to the club or a quid a week ... We will call it The extra man fund and we will PAY for a pay for Neil, this will bring him in an extra player... If we dont get 100 say we get 30 or 40 it will still pay for a loan player or 2...

We have plenty who can afford 2 quid a week for the season.

All i want is names in this thread saying you are in. No money comes to me it all goes direct to the club, you pay barrie or an official ...

We need an extra man well heres your chance.

We have enough businesses involved to get a few on board. 

2 quid a week or 80 up front and we have almost a month to get this sorted.

Just put your name in If you would pay £2 a week and join the extra man club, Would see if Barrie would make a players shirt available at the end of the season and and a season ticket for the following season for the winner IF ALL 100 places were taken up. 

I think its a tremendous idea and an extra player would certainly help Neil.
