Anyone know anything about today. Result - who played etc.

I went to see our new rivals Bromley against C Palace. Palace got an extra time equaliser to make it 2-2. Bromley very impressive - 3/4 of the 3,000 crowd were their fans too so they will be very well supported ths year.

What struck me was that they started with what is likely to be their starting team at the beginning of the season - made some subs in the 2nd half but you were left with the impression that they are more or less settled and will use pre-season to get ready to be out of the blocks quickly for the new season. If we are using the pre-season to actaully try and work out our side then they will not be used to playing with each other at the start.

Sooner we get players on contract and knowing what is expected for next season the better
