I'm sorry to say this but after reading his posts about the club and the team I am disgusted.
Criticism after criticism after criticism - why don't you actually turn up and get behind the team [Factually incorrect statement removed bruno] - you a typical armchair fan who never turns up and says sack the manager after - 2 yes just 2 bad games -
From your posts you look for failure and want things to go tits up - like it says about 300 fans supporting Erith - so that way you can say "I told you so" - and quite frankly I'm not interested in your opinion - I'm angry with your posts and I really hope Neil or any of the team don't read this forum because it won't do anything for their confidence
And one more thing - what will your opinion of Neil and the club be if we go on a winning streak and are playoffs by christmas?? - you'll nitpick and still find fault
JGFC is ouspoken, but surely that's the point. It's good to see someone putting the effort into voicing an opinion, trying to get scores from Cambridge, willing to to score updates etc.
I think it's strange that in 2007 and the media WORLD we live in the Welling webpages is two weeks out of date. Yes holidays tc, etc but it goes to show that the powers that be dont really give a damn.
Who are the new players ... who knows ...
Good luck to everyon, because it looks like they will ned it
JGFC can be outspoken - but to say he wants the club to fail is ridiculous. He wants it to succeed and return to the Conference. His anger is the lack of ambition with the present owners. I don't always agree with what he has to say but please go back and read what he has written - it is not all criticism - he was very supportive of Neil and singing his praises. Changed his mind very rapidly now though, but he, like many of us is very frustrated and this is starting to feel like the PP season when we were bottom and strugglling.
Listen to what other supporters are saying at the games - he speaks for a lot of people.
There is def a ring of "I told you so" waiting to happen - and yes there are valid points - but picking up on the website and the fact you can't can't see the score as reason to say how the club is falling apart seems absolutely ridiculous to me - have you seen the state of other websites - they are awful. And this is a non-league team - it's not Arsenal or Liverpool that can afford tp pay 10 people to work on it!
And yes there are criticisms of the team - but the criticisms I feel the criticisms of the team later on in the season will be more justified - it's too early to be going mad about every little thing
And Ade got flack on this forum - although it was directed more at the running of the club
For sure he went into 'Mr Angry from Purley' ((c) Steve Wright) mode but his comments in this thread and historically reflect the very opposite of the J's interpretation.
I believe that there are a growing number of fans who share his frustration and at least some of his views but express this less emotionally both at PVR and on this forum.

Perhaps I've calmed down a bit now - but I def saw it as a rant - and also there isn't going to be a change in the running of the club anyway and if there was and the club was sold - we'd probably end up with a another Sainsburys or Tescos being built on the site!
HONOURS: Southern League Champions 1985/86 Kent Senior Cup Winners 1985/86, 1998/99 London Senior Cup Winners 1989/90 London Challenge Cup Winners 1991/92
The last trophy was a micky mouse cup 16 years ago. J some people have supported the club for 30 odd years and seen stuff that would make you cry.
The club do not want success. Maybe neil is getting it in the neck. Maybe im pissed off with the club being run like a sunday league team. Where are they training this year?? Asda Car Park with trolleys for goalposts?

Anyway I'm not trying to start a massive argument - I got annoyed and posted - but I really feel there is too much negativity at the club - and I'm sure we aren't the only team that haven't won anything for a decade - most clubs never win anything!
8 years yes indeed, thanks Bruno. How could i forget. Its gauling that we havent even properly challenged for anything. Its something like 4 or 5 times better than 9th place in any league since 1986.

J 2 years ago we had over 100k from the cup well over!! and were in the play offs and the budget was reduced. Last year we played away from home due to floodlights being blown over, no worries but why put all of the games back to the last 6 weeks from pre christmas.
J All i will say is watch how the club is run, you cannot always say oh well thats a shame these things happen..... trust me.

I know about the cup - I went down to Dorchester and Huddersfield - but someone said that at a meet the manager the money was used to pay off old debts - i dont know how true that is though but wouldn't be surprised
and yes that was stupid putting all of our fixtures towards the end of the season - but who knows that fllodlights are going to fall down!
and i would rather we dont spend too much cash than go the way of other clubs that punch above their weight and go bust
And yes there are criticisms of the team - but the criticisms I feel the criticisms of the team later on in the season will be more justified - it's too early to be going mad about every little thing
In part, correct. However, when the same failings persist, regardless of regime you can hardly say it is too early.
i.e JT lapses and walkabouts The inability to come up with a move that allows us to retain possession at throw ins since the Abbott\Robbins era.
On a positive note, we do at least seem to know where the back post is now for crosses and we are keeping at least one person up at corners.
(And before I am accused of JT bashing, some people are naturally lucky and get away with their mistakes, take a bow Jens, others aren't and evidence suggests that he isn't)
I tell you what - There was me thinking that our mate JGFC was going to go through a season being sensible and therefore give us reasoned debate - Oh Dear i was naive wasn't I!!
Pity - still the same old same old bollocks
Well I was prepared to wait and see!! But I suppose the time has come.......................
Some people are perennial pessimists and have "negative energy" and negativistic attitudes. Not only do they disparage the efforts of others, but they make it a point to resist demands to perform in workplace and social settings and to frustrate people's expectations and requests, however reasonable and minimal they may be. This wears a multitudes of guises: procrastination, malingering, perfectionism, forgetfulness, neglect, truancy, intentional inefficiency, stubbornness, and outright sabotage. Despite the obstructive role they play, passive-aggressives feel unappreciated, underpaid, cheated, and misunderstood. They chronically complain, whine, carp, and criticize. "They may be sullen, irritable, impatient, argumentative, cynical, skeptical and contrary." They are also hostile, explosive, lack impulse control, and, sometimes, reckless.
They are envious of the fortunate, the successful, the famous, their superiors, those in favor, and the happy. They vent this venomous jealousy openly and defiantly whenever given the opportunity.
I would hate to think ANY Welling fan suffered thus. Cheer up all.
