Ask anyone who's seen even only one game this season and they'd tell you that we were or should have been looking for 1 striker already, before we were looking for the 1 striker that we're looking for now. Sadly, this is what happens when you lose quality in the shape of Keds in the close season and don't fine an even near adequate replacement. We've become unstuck by the pre-season "open door/trial match/have you got a pair of boots/what's your mate's name?" arrangement without having any specific player plans in place.
And why is no-one else mentioning Magic Johnson for the striker slot? That's why we bought him and at least he's scored this season.
Get off Blackmans back he has been playing wide right when he should be played up top. Recently people have been jeering him, i think this is wrong you support your players, if you think he is not up to the job and therefore shouldn't be playing, do not boo he player he does not pick himself its the manager who puts him in. In saying that i am not saying lets jump on Smiths back yet.
Weve lost barnard, james and now ward and before they left we were looking for players.
I think we should play Kegan upfront with Turpie. Bring Kevin Oakes in to win a few headers. (Neil they are supporters team players but you seem to let anyone play and give them a contract)

Hey!! We have THREE GOALKEEPERS can we play them all at the same time, We have a tiny squad and they arent good enough. YES they all arent cra p but as a team, as a squad, as a unit in numbers, tactically and however else you want to look at it THEY AINT GOOD ENOUGH UNDER THIS MANAGER.
Neil will be gone by xmas as its just getting worse on and off the pitch. Mind you we dont sack managers as soon as we could/should so he might make till march when we are 10 points adrift of survival.

I too have a real problem when "fans" get on individual players backs. They're in OUR team and in OUR colours!!!!! It's got to be counter productive and nobody deserves booing, sarcastic clapping, imploring the Referee to send him off etc.well............unless it's a certain England (U21) player and that has nothing to do with ability.
