Bit funny though aint it, resigns after they played at welling>?

Is it a fact that he was offered the job? I agree it sounds a bit weird resigning after losing to us...............is there something in the pipeline?
If and I repeat if, Neil didn't deliver this weekend, could there be a possibility that Phil could come back?
Any other views?

Exactly what i was thinking....

But barney hasnt done nothing for eastleigh and never scouted or went to see teams while at welling. If we made phil manager it would be a catastrophic appointment. Hes walked away from us twice now.
