Just for info

Mr Smith touched the ball 36 times this afternoon, 25 in the 1st half, 11 in the second.
He had one attempt on goal.

This does not include throw ins, taking free kicks or receiving the ball direct from the kick off, nor does include times when the ball hit him (ball to Smith), but does include interceptions, tackles won (took the ball away from the opposition).

Did not keep stats from pass completion.

i conclude that Mr Smith was definitely in the game today; maybe his best game for the Wings yet?

Totally agree Chalrie. Thought Neil had his best game for the club and was probbaly our best man out there. My only worry is he going to be one of those unlucky mangers. Should have won yesterday - deserved something from Eastbourne. Hope he gets a bit of luck soon - I think the side is only one or two players short of being able to challenge for the play offs.

I must admit, when I saw his name on the team sheet and not Keevil, I thought 'why' ?  I then found out that Sam wasn't fully match fit and would probably only play the last 25 minutes or so.
I was pleasantly suprised by Neils effort..........full of commitment and passion.
Not sure that he and Chippy can play in the midfield together though, but hey, well done Neil.

Sam was meant to play in the reserve game against Sevenoaks but didn't turn up.

Agree with Cynical and thought that when Sam and Ellis came on we looked awesome although Neil did play well Saturday. Looks like we have a great team spirit all of a sudden and was shown when Sam replaced Neil, they squeezed the life out of eachother which must be a good sign as they are fighting for the same place! Not been Neils biggset fan but well done Saturday, good day all round.  Come on you wings!!!!!
