Can I suggest that anyone who lives in the London Borough of Greenwich also write to their local councillor. This may help them realise the need for youth football in their community.

If you do not know who your councillor is you can look them up on the LBG website www.greenwich.gov.uk

It would seem that whilst WUY were quick to seek support for their petition some 9 months ago they are extremely reluctant to keep those who signed the petition in the picture as to what is happening/has happened.

WUY are still awaiting the outcome. Decision was expected last month so should be soon now.

Once advised of the decision it will be communicated.

The Youth section are currently negotiating terms for the 25 year lease at Camdale Road with the council, after putting in the leading tender.  Many thanks to all for support offered.  Much appreciated.
