In the dim and distant days of Paul Parker every time I missed a home league game the 3 points went wellings way. This year I went on holiday the day of the Eastleigh game and today I have ben stuck in bed trying to sweat out a cold so I can get to work tonight (no rude comments please). Suppose I had better stop attending as its a good omen
Well done on todays score keep it up for the rest of the season.
Apart from the fact that at half time a load of people(including me) queued up for the bar for 10 mins for them to close it as we got to the front - it was a good day - 1st half crap - but 2nd we were a different team
good result - but again with the bar - the club need to sort it out - a big crowd and they couldn't cope and to get to the front for them to tell me it's closed is a kick in the balls - i'm agreeing with jgfc at the mo that the club is run like a beavers meeting at times
Why couldn't they open the Dere's bar - bung them a few quid and we make money too. I understand that relationships aren't always good with them but we need to patch up our differences as their were punters who wanted to spend money. Another burger bar would have been good. I didn't even bother going at half time as I can imagine the queue would have been half way round the ground. We don't often get crowds of this size and need to make the most of it.
On the field - great - 3 points at Dorchester and I might start thinking Smith is the man
