From this article in the Bexley Times regarding Thamesmead Town's £4M planning bid... However, Mr Joy dismissed any chance for Blue Square South rivals Welling United to be considered for a ground share. "Trust Thamesmead have put a lot of money in," he continued. "But we have to make sure we retain the identity of the club. Bringing more investment to the area will only encourage more people to want to live in the area." __________________ Graham

First question would be where is the £4 million coming from? Is this a Government grant or from the local Council? Secondly, who in their right mind would want to live in Thamesmead? __________________
