Crap result versus another team below us. Maidenhead and St Albans won. After yet more hollow words from smith " players will give more, show hoe they hurt etc etc blah blah "

The only time i would give smith is a casio watch from argos and his p45!

This is a shambles

Ok it wasn't great by any means.
But it was a whole lot better than last week.
Nethers had a good game.Bit on the slow side as you would expect, but looked solid throughout. And could have scored early on.

Well played nethers.

May have been better Kev but not a great result and results went against us.

Bognor struggling?

They may well not be setting the world alight but their season seems to have taken a turn for the better lately. They are getting points in crucial matches, already beaten us this season and have scored 11 goals in the last six.

Last 6 League results
2-2 Draw Away to Newport
1-1 Draw Away to Dorchester
2-0 Win Home to Cambridge
1-1 Draw Away to St Albans
3-0 Win Home to Hayes and Yeading
2-3 Loss to Braintree
That 9 points from a possible 18 whereas we've managed just 5.

A draw would have to be regarded as a good result for us.

To be honest we should have won yesterday and the free kick / penalty decision at the very end was at very least dubious.

I honestly can't remember a season when there were so many games where "we should have won" and we lost because of dubious decisions has been claimed.

Every season is the same. Indifferent referees inevitably mean lots and lots of dubious decisions. Yesterday the foul was given and to my mind it was inside the area. Usually, in my book, that should be a penalty.

JGFC - i don't think a 0-0 away from home is a shambles after the last couple of weeks. To be honest i was dreading the score that came through today.

I agree that this season so far has been (i was one for giving Smith more time - and still am) - but 0-0 ain't a shambles,  in my opinion.

Can I also add that despite the poor results and dreadful performances recently - the turn out from Wings fans on a cold wet misearble day was excellent. I was sitting in the stands and the singing, especailly at the end was brilliant. Well done to everyone who made the effort.
