In a morbid sort of way I am looking forward to it.....


What will happen then?

The team run out to......cheers, boos, nothing at all

The manager gets boos, cheers (very unlikely) or nothing at all

Thurrock with all their injuries win (likely) draw (as long as they don't score) or lose (lets not get carried away)

Welling score 0 (looks good), 1 (would have to be an own goal) 2 (Cloud cukoo land unless Thurrock manage two own goals)

After the match....Smith resigns (Can but hope), Smith stays (OH goodie)

And I guess the real question is....Howmany players will know each other before kick off

It should be very interesting indeed Mark. Hopefully, the team will get cheered onto the pitch ( they need every encouragement that they can get ) but after the final whistle, who knows. If it's a poor display / result, then I think that Neil should step down, quickly followed by the Hobbins.

Tomorrow will be my last game at PVR for some time as I depart for a new life in Australia. I've been a Welling fan since 1991 and, to be honest, I wanted a win tomorrow. It isnt going to happen is it.

Tomorrow will be sad enough as it is without seeing my beloved Welling spiralling out of control.
