Could this be Smith's last game?

Could it be a turn of the corner where we go on a huge run onto the play offs?

Or could it be the same old, same old?

Either way...

COME ON YOU WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, Danny Kedwell isn't in the Grays squad today with no mention of an injury or suspension anywhere.

2-0 down (nearly end of match), both penalties, man sent off and even worse - plastic glasses in their clubhouse

Still in 18th but could be overtaken by Bognor and Dorchester if they win their games in hand which would put us in 3rd relegation slot. More worrying is that there is now a 3 point gap to the team above us.

3 points from the last 8 games.

We are now 7 points worse off than we have ever been since our relegation from the National.

Chris Moore was sent off - one a definite yellow card - the second for conceding the 2nd peanlty - referree seemed to indicate it was for leaning on his man - not a yellow card in my book unless I missed something.

Penalties may have been doubtful - but let's face we were woeful. No shots on target and they must have had about 20 shots - luckily for us they couldn't finish - (apart from the 4!!) otherwise goals against could have been in double figures.

We have a 2 week break now - I wonder if this is the time that Smith will be shown the door giving time to get a new man in.

Todays Game.........

Today must be one of the worse Welling performances in recent yeras. No attacks and no idea! I heard people moaning at the ref for the two penalties given but we deserved to get beaten heaviley regadless of these. Charles Ademeno is so out his depth he has to be one of the worst players i've seen there and with the exception of Jamie Turner no one can say they are fighting for us.

SMITH MUST GO NOW BEFORE ITS TO LATE. we are going down unless something is changed fast.

Disagree a bit

The first half was NOT the worst I have ever seen

Wealdstone and Fisher at home was worse

Having said that it was not pretty

I went to the game as a neutral and am amazed to see that you aren't in uproar about the refereeing. The first pen was never a pen. I didn't see the second penalty incident, but I'm sure your chap was sent off for dissent because he walked off the pitch. If he'd actually gone to the ref he might have just had a talking to. After that you folded (which may not have happened had your centre back not walked), but the third goal was a blatant handball. The fourth may have been the only legitimate one of the lot.

Fair enough you might have been looking for reasons to blame your now ex-manager, but I didn't think you were that bad.

The harsh reality is that this is a results business and despite Neil's undoubted efforts he was unable to get results.

I've lost count of the number of games this season where it has been reported that we played well (and sometimes dominated) but at best we drew.

The lack of a decent striker was I'm sure a major factor though from the matches I have attended its my opinion that we also lack creativity in the midfield and defensively we are no great shakes. If you are scoring goals though the other inadequacies are not quite so telling.
