Just spoken to Lloyd after seeing him leaving the ground today and he confirmed he had just negotiated his release from the club to take up an offer from his hometown club , he mentioned Ryman League Folkestone . I asked if he had any idea who our new manager would be , which he said he didnt . He may not have been everyones cup of tea but he seemed a top bloke, Good luck Lloyd wherever you go . Also heard that Omari and Remy may be struggling for the weekend so we may need to find a forward or 2 before Saturday.
Its public knowledge that a resurgent Folkestone are in ongoing talks with an unnamed striker and that Neil Cugley expected to get his signature in time for this Saturdays match which gives some credence to anon's post.

Best of luck to him but I can't say I am sorry he has gone. Lots of money and little in the way of performance to justify the money he took from the club, although his temper tanturm after being subbed a few months ago was worth a few quid
You're right. Details now on the official club site. Playing contracts of Smith & Nethercott have also been cancelled by mutual consent. Does that mean the club has had to pay some kind of compensation? I hope not.
