With both Delia Smith and Bernie Ecclestone having been educated in the Borough and both having more than a passing interest in football and, more importantly, both being well and truly loaded has anyone ever thought of a dignified begging letter to help with a ground improvement project? It might be a complete waste of time but it could also be a good bit of publicity for them. We would obviously have to match fund or something but how much would it cost to cover the road end?
