5 teams in an all out war to avoid that last spot... Fantastic result today and we are in very good form so if we carry on giving 110% we have a good chance of being here next season for Fordy to have a clean slate.

Brilliant stuff. Maidenhead lost Bognor lost but looks like Weston and Stalebuns did the business.

Top class performance today. Couldn't fault anyone for effort. Hard to pick a man of the match but JT was outstanding.

Eastbourne had no idea how to contain our two wingers who had umpteen fouls against them.

Well done lads.

With hindsight that was a crucial game to win, seeing as both Weston and St Albans won.

Two words to describe todays performance..............bloody brilliant !!!!
What a great game to watch. Everyone to a man played their part and we played as a team.  JT made some outstanding saves and kept us in the match.
Chippy with a brilliant penalty and our wingers played havoc with their defence.
Sam Gargan to me just edged man of the match. His tireless running and chasing for everything is a credit to him..........well done mate.
Eastbourne tried their dirty tactics, but it didn't work.  Not only did we contain them, we outplayed them and they hated it. Try as they might to kick our players off the park, we overcome their frustrations and beat them fair and square.
The ref had a decent game up to a point, but should have booked a few of their players for persistant fouls. Others, especially their number 3 should have been awarded an Oscar...............best supporting cheat.
The boys, Fordy, Phil and all of us should be proud of a gutsy performance.
Well done and let's have some more.
Come on you Wings !!!!!

Today was by far the best I have seen us play this season. Was nice to see every player giving 100% and working hard for each other. JT was brilliant in goal and thought Ellis Green had a great game and got his deserves when winning the penalty. He gave their number 3 the run around all game. Hopefully we can keep Gargan until the end of the season as i think it is helping we have a settled forward line for the first time this season. Must say it was heart in mouth time as i thought for a second the keeper had saved the penalty but luckily it crept in!

Next three games, Maidenhead A, St Albans H, and Sutton A will all be massive must win games but i have more belief we can do it under Ford and Handford than i had done most the season.

If I can come over all Mark X'y we need to turn up and really get behind the lads as they showed today that we have a team really worth supporting.

Was it Michael Kamara who stamped on the Eastbourne no 3's groin area , as he was lucky the ref missed it and to stay on the pitch ?
No need for that on the pitch and to laugh and wink at the away supporters as well

Bill - it was Michael - I thought it was more that he got caught up in the tackle and stood on him. Perhaps could have made more effort not to. Would have helped if the 3 had been booked earlier as he should have been off the pitch for the amount of fouls on Ellis Green.

A superb performance. From comments I heard about the Newport game, and after seeing us against Braintree you could tell things had changed...the quality of football was much improved.

Before the Newport game (based on recent performances including Weston at home) I doubted we'd pick up any points, but to get get 6 from 9 is just brilliant (and I thought we were unlucky not to get at least one point against Braintree).

Onwards and upwards, would be good to get a nice winning streak going, and at least allow the fans to go into the summer break with positives for next season.
