"Striker Bradley Spice and Lee Spiller have been offered a pre-season trial with Conference South side Welling United, as has midfielder Ryan Johnson who impressed as Bourne Park after having arrived from Slade Green for the final few games of the season."
Think Spills will have to have improved and be less of a headless chicken, there is something there but he does/did charge round like a loonie sometimes. Perhaps Andy thinks he can get him disciplined and playing.
I think Andys MO next season is win the ball by being Hard in the tackle and give it to the wide boys. Spills can play some good balls . Should be in our price range and A bit of coaching from Andy and Jimmy could polish off the rough edges.
No peroxide or white boots though Spills!

I remember back in '47, I met up with the famous Bruno Filardo, an Italian Jew who had played for Ajax of Amsterdam before the Nazi invasion.
Bruno fled Italiy when Il Duce came to power and wound up in Holland having been released on compassionate grounds by his club Bologne (or "red Bologne" as they were known).
When the Nazis were knocking their way into the Netherlands, Bruno fled to the UK with an old time piece given to him by the Mountbatten family. He spent the war working in Whitehall after a brief stint in a POW camp for hostile Aliens in Harwich.
After the war, aged 32, Bruno played for Dulwich Hamlet whilst all the time actively campaigning for a Jewish homeland. He was good friends of future hairdresser to the stars, Vidal Sassoon, another member of the growing Zionist movement in London's heady post-war years. Vidal was very handy with a razor, even back then.
I chanced upon a meeting with Bruno outside of Tescos in Highbury that June. He had handsone dual Semitic and Mediterranean good looks and was recruiting for a small band of fellow travellers to acompnay him to Syria to fight for a Jewish homeland.
I had only just married Lisa my childhood sweetheart, so I did not take much persuading to dump her in the tenement we were living in back in Sydenham and head off into the night with the family gasmark and our few remaining food rations.
On the 16th June 1947, Bruno Filardo met me outside the old RAF base in Thanet, Kent (now known as Kent International Airport.) Some friends from BAA had procured a German Focker aeroplane for us, and Bruno, myself and four others waited until the dead of night for the plane to land on the outer west of the airfield, chosen for its seclusion.
The plane was most abley piloted by Matilda Blanchflower, the younger sister of footballing legend Danny. She had lost both legs in service for the WRENS, clearing carrot peel from London's over burdened sewer system during the war years. She was a remarkable woman. I gave her a pair of silk stockings for her troubles. She said it was "ironic".
From what I remember, it was a hellish journey. The plane bumped horrendously as it straddled the strong European winds and on a number of occasions we had to fly exceedingly high to escape the airborne infantry of both the US and Red Armies. Sleep became a precious and almost curious commodity, so i took my time to study our hearty band of freedom fighters.
Morris Edgar was the 28 year old son of an East End tailor. During the war he had served with distinction on Blackpool sea front for the tangerines as a cultured midfielder. With him was former Notts County goal keeper Monty Gold, on the run from the Military for the slaughter of nineteen Nazi POW's on Beckenham High Street.
Issac Xavier was only 19. He had fought in the French resistance since he was fifteen. He was a sturdy, muscular six foot centre half who "took no prisoners". He had himself butchered thirteen Russian Trotskyites, rumoured to have been ordered at the behest of Stalin himself. And finally, there was forty year old former Brentford full back Harry Stein, whom Issac butchered with a blunt pen knife somewhere over Spain in an argument over the reasons for Woolwich Arsenal changing homes.
We were hardy soles. Everyone of us totally deidctaed to helping to form a safe haven for the Jewish peoples.
My god, we could do with guys like that for the coming season.
Incidentally, I married Ms Blachflower after Lisa was mugged in Catford High street in 1991.
