How much do we get off them? Would we be better actively seeking a better deal or just saying oh thanks.
Some clubs get to sign deals for 20-30k etc and others a bigger tie in for like 100k!!
Are Coomes paying us a five figure fee per year or paying for stuff?
What are coomes getting out of it? They havent got a betting kiosk at the ground, they havent even got a website that takes bets.
Fair play for getting a new deal but is it big and could we do better.
Not having a pop, but are we just taking a few quid off them as easy money rather than trying to get a better deal. Also if we did a raffle for like £200 a ticket for the shirt sponsorwould we get more than coomes offer?
I would say look other teams are getting 10k a year. We will give you more exposure, give you free tickets etc etc as prizes for your shops, you can have a betting booth in the ground with no commission for games. We will rename the ground coomes stadium for 3 years. All this for 100k.

i think this is a good thing - we''ve still got a major sponsor and i dont think it would be that easy to get another sponsor in who will pay a large sum of money(credit crunch and all)
I don't know the ins and outs of this kind of thing, but I suspect it's not the easiest thing to get 50k a year from. Limited exposure in the non-league scene means (imho) there are better ways to spend money on brand exposure.
The fact Coomes like to tie in with a local business and put something back is a good thing.
If coomes paid us say 100k over 3 years.. They really would be investing in our future but get so much more back than they are at the moment.
rename the ground, brand all the shirts,scarves/hats and stuff in the shop,
Give them a betting booth in the ground and a betting page in the programme
Paint the road end fence Blue and and have massive adverts on it for coomes plus the stand roof.
They will get massive brand exposure, they will get 3 years of opportunities for televison exposure/cup games, exposure in the press. More exposure on our website etc etc. Coomes Park Etc etc
They will get people betting in the ground that could also bet in their shops on other days.
If they have a decent concession manager they will get their 100k back in the kiosk and their shops over the 3 years.
Thats what i would push to them!! or Morrises down the road. But dont sell it cheap!
