Lover certainly deserves a chance at this level. 21/22 and has only been at Cray as far as I am aware.
From match reports an influential midfielder who played a key role at Cray, isn't afraid to shoot from outside the box and weighs in with his fair share of goals.

We have to remember that there will be one or two stepping up, BUT Fordy has at least signed young players who he feels he can develop. They may take a few games to bed in but Andy and the Club are trying to do the right thing. Players from Bearsted etc if signed by Neil Smith people would be going off their tits.
But Andy has clearly shown he knows what he is doing and is trying to build a squad, with thinking going into players and positions. Not square pegs in round holes.
i hope he sends the strongest team to the weakest friendly just so they can score some goals and get some confidence. Would love to see Charlie or Healy or one of the other forwards get 4 or 5 vs thamesmead themselves.

But which exactly is the "weakest" friendly ?? As far as I am aware Thamesmead and Sittingbourne will both be playing at the same level next season.
Methinks it will be two mixed teams like last night with Ford at one game and Dack at the other. Either way I hope the club make it clear what is going player wise next Thursday so that the supporters can make an informed decision on which game to attend.
