Now

Not that I believe that a captain is that important in football but who do i see as our skipper this season

Now that Mooro has gone i think it is down to one - with maybe an outsider

I guess Rob Quinn would skipper the side BUT with a bit of luck and a following wind it just could be Sonny Cobbs

Sonny Cobbs - I just remember the passion he put into some of the games last year and if that rubs off then you never know

Comment?

Spot on Mark - if its experience wanted by Fordy he'll choose Quinn - subject to signing him then Cobbs shows the other main requirement - passion.

Sonny Cobbs as captain ???? The bloke hasn't signed.......yet

That would be the same Sonny Cobbs who almost cut a Weston player in half before getting sent off. Passion ia all well and good but making the young kid captain is asking too much.

Has to be Quinn for me or maybe Sinclair as outside bet.

I think it's easy to speculate, but only Andy will know who has the right mentality for the captains armband.

I would put money on it going to Quinn. Any chance that Grays would give us Jamie Day back?

Daisy's under contract until next May I think. I was wondering what the latest on Bodkin was? Haven't seen anything about him on the Grays or Thurrock sites...

No one stays at this club for long now , gone are the days when a player like Nigel Ransom was first choice captain.

Doubt we will get either Bods or Day back. As mark said Bodkin played out of his skin the other day for Grays + Day played 17 odd games for them last year so not likely to be released.

Plus we are hardly on good terms with Mike Woodward!!
