Anyone got any updates. Seems to be unreal this year, no radio coverage on the beeb. no website updates from the usual sources.

I see Newport have their own live commentary and so do afc wimbledon.

Good News Attendance 805
Bad News Tony Sinclair injured and taken to hospital. Hope it turns out to be a precautionary measure.

Young Barry was talking to Tony's family and it sounded to me like he said something about a trapped nerve. Let's hope it's nothing more serious than that.

Another good win today as I didnt think Fisher were that bad. I think we are a vert exciting team to watch this season and although I think winning the league is beyond us play offs could be a possibilty, we will certianly win more than we lose. Pluses today were Ryan Johnson coming on and more than holding his own and Blackburn, Quinny and CBB having good games. Negatives the injury to Tony Sinclair I hope he is ok and Dorian Smith, he just didnt do it for me not strong enough in the tackle and a bit of a poser.

Early days but overall a brillaint start come on you wings!

I agree, also thought Frankie Chappel had a good first full game. Also thought Macentegart done well, winning most things in the air.

Was sitting next to a Brighton scout who was watching Craig BB...

I thought JT had a good game too.

Scouts will always start sniffing around any potential unearthed at our level. I'm sure this won't be the last one we see this season.

A great match, great atmosphere and for once Welling won a match i attended :) Charlie's second goal was a good one, reminded me of his dad a lot. Funnily enough Teddy was there today and signing a load of autographs, having photos taken and watching the match for quite a while from the sidelines. Fisher played quite well, but if they were going to get anything from this match, they really needed to get something from a couple of very early good goal scoring chances, but Jamie was too good for them! I'm glad that Tony Sinclair looks like he'll be ok now, as he didn't look so great when left the pitch on the stretcher today :O

Oh and i managed to film the whole match, complete with running commentary from me and the occasional vanishing football when someone kicked the ball way up in the air :D

Agree with previous postings about JT.

In my opinion he was man of the match.

5 games, 3 clean sheets and only 2 goals conceded. Great form.

Chappell and Blackburn impressed for me too - good first starts for both.

Agree with Alan S. about JT. He was relatively under-employed in both games this weekend given how well the team's started this season, but has made important saves in spells of the game when called upon.

Great stuff Wings. Keep it up!

I think harsh on Dorian Smith - some of his passing is superb. He is the most creative player we have - he isn't going to win losts of tackles - we have others to do that - but he brings something extra to midfield. He's only young and a real prospect in my view.

I agree with Chelwing. Some of what Dorian does is superb, but it's no secret that he needs to get match fit.

totally agree with this - that's the problem if players do play well as leagues clubs can come in for them and you can't blame the players for going either

hopefully we will keep most of the squad together for this season though as so far everything is looking good(touch wood)

Very good performance just a shame I'm going away to Zante on Thursday so I miss the H&Y game! Nice to see a good crowd and decent game of football in the same day!

Take it easy in Zante - read in Sunday Times recently that the locals are putting pure alcohol in the ****tails as it is cheaper than proper booze and far more lethal. Number of people needing medical treatment and for some reason it makes the young ladies want to take off their clothes. Tends to be in the large goalfish bowl ****tails. I am sure that you won't be indulging Wellingmarshmellow - I imagine you will be reading Greek philosphy by day and getting your head down early with a hot cocoa!! Enjoy

Look forward to it

If you need to compress it. Use the best video format conversion software bar none. Its called "Super" and its free. You can use what ever codecs or bit rate you want. 768 kbps WM8 should do the trick.
