First 20 minutes wasn't bad then total rubbish after that.

Unlucky not to clinch it at the very end though but their keeper made an excellent save.

On that performance I don't see us going through.

An appalling performance to say the least.

If any of the players have the audacity to pick up their wages after today they should be ashamed of themselves.

I feel embarrassed to be a Welling Fan.

What a shower of ****e!!

What has happened? We were woeful really, really bad, the only thing I can see is that we have good players who are not playing as a team. Where has the side that destroyed Bath on the first day of the season gone? Why is Cobbs not playing in the centre of midfield, Chris Nurse was awful, Quinn and Green had a shocker and Martin was not much better. Chappell has got to come back into the defence instead of Macca, he was awful as well.

What makes iut worse was from the moment that equalised they dominated, Bloody hell we were bad!

Positive thing about Wenesday is that it is October, we have not won at all in Septemebr!!

I don't often post on here but today's performance was shocking. The majority of the passes went to the opposition and we rarely looked like scoring.

We are supposed to have a much better side than last years and at least then we gave Eastbourne a run for their money at a time when they were the league leaders. Play the reserves on Wednesday, were bound to get a lot more effort than the 11 that played today. It was simply not good enough

Dissapointing not beating a lower league side at home but some of the abuse given to the players was unhelpful. I'd rather those so called supporters did n't turn up. We have a young team on a bad run ,(7 games without a win), that are low on confidence and need supporting not bollocking. Lets get behind the team on Wednesday and the confidence can return as quickly as it seems to have disappeared.

Chris your right we do need to get behind the team but you have to ask the team to perform in order to get the supporters behind them. I didnt hear the abuse so I cant comment.

What I can comment on is that after last week I seriously considered not turning up today, but a football club is for life and so I poked out £11 of my hard earned quid to watch something that was woeful. I have no doubt that Messrs Hobbins and Fordy have discussed matters going forward re finances and budgets and bringing in a proven striker will cost money. This will no doubt be financed in part by a decent cup run. On today's performance this wont happen, we will be departing early. The comment above sum up a lot of things but bearing in mind that Ellis was so up for it today in the programme notes, he could have fooled me.

So yes lets get behind the team in order to move forward, but we also need to reflect on today. The players should hang their heads in shame aginast a team who looked far better on the day and seemed to want it more.

I was cheesed off by todays performance but took heart that 8 conference south sides were knocked out today by lower league teams. At least by getting a draw it gives Fordy a chance to put some fireworks up a few rear ends.

Another point I like Quinn and his playing and feel that he has a lot to offer the team, However I was not impressed when he was subbed he just threw the arm band to his VC. To me this is showing disrespect to his position as captain - or am I just being an old fuddy duddy? Discuss!

personally dont mind it when players throw hissy fits when they are subbed - for me shows they have some passion and give a damn

but today's performance wasnt great but people are forgetting we are low on confidence and it's the fa cup where a small team wil travel away with no fear and have the game of their lives

that happened yesterday but what didnt help were the shouts directed towards nurse and ellis - if you want the team to play well we have to get behind the team - moreso if we are playing badly

i agree with chris - if you are going to boo then you might as well not be there asyou are actaully hampering the team - for example look at charlton with their fans constantly booing and what is the result of that? they dont win games

we are just going through a bad patch and once we have won a bit of confidence will come back and we'll be fine

I think that the abuse is stemed from frustation at seeing half decent players play complete crap when we all know that we have the capabilty to be a good team.

That was the worse performance I have seen from any of the teams that Andy has put out since he took charge earlier this year. I booed yesterday because I felt that I had a right too, I priase when praise is due but cristicise when it is critiscim is due and yesterday it was very much due!

As everyone else has said on here it was a truly terrible performance. It started pretty well with the goal and I thought we would thump them but after that we were trying to be too clever with stupid little flicks that were going nowhere. Whyteleafe were big and physical and got into the Wings. I'm not sure how many they had booked but it was a few. I think the physical side that the Leafe were showing got to Welling. The second half was probably the worst I've seen since Neil Smith. As someone said at least we are still in the cup albeit a tad fortunately. I don't think there was a single Welling player yesterday who had a good game.

Hopefully we can regroup and beat them away but it won't be easy. They know Welling are well out of confidence so will be confident of getting a result. We have to better organised on set pieces and not give silly free kicks away round the box. And as I said in a post when Mr Ford got rid of Mooro I hope we don't miss him. I think that yesterday we could have done with him. He would have been up for the battle unlike some of our youngsters.

Finally how is Nurse better than Cobbs?

now you fans who saw our team through rose tinted glasses should realise how bad we are. so when me and other supporters slag them off we tell the truth.dont get me wrong we all want welling to do well.but when you spent your hard earn cash on this team every week it gets hard to take.every year we are promise a better season than last it never happens. WE NEED A STRIKER  NOT ANOTHER MIDFIELD PLAYERfurious

On which tree is the striker you want growing?

You expect the club to fork out for another striker. You expect the club to fork out for covered terracing yet if both were suddenly available I bet you would still moan about spending money.

By the way, I must have hearing problems as I did not hear the severe stick that the players were getting.

1) Whyteleafe were the most defensively poor team I have seen in ages, even including us. The first half their defence imploded every time we went near and it wasn't down to anything we were doing

2) We were dire but they were still not good enough to beat us. Some hope for the replay.

3) 4 crosses, 1 goal, 1 disallowed goal, 1 total chaos with none of our players in sight, 1 decent save. Hopefully no genius required to know what to do in the replay and Ford can drill it into them to execute it. Would be a lot easier if Ellis Green had a right foot. Work on it lad if you have aspirations!

4) No good the club and support raising more money if Mr Ford does not get the team to hoover up what should be realistically attainable prize money. I hope the rocket will be duly applied.

I raised concers about the direction the team were going after the Bognor game and was criticised for doing so. I hate to say I told you so... I know that we are a young team and I still have confidence in Andy as a manager but I worry that there are 2 or 3 of the more "senior" players at the club who just aren't good enough - some don't seem to try very hard either.

Of course there are strikers out there, every team has them, the question is how good are they and what are their demands. Good strilkers are at a premium and there are many clubs competing for them. An example of just how scarce they are is the £140,000 recently paid by Bristol City for Ebbsfleet's relatively inexperienced but talented 19 year old John Akinde.
